Some New leashes, First up a Purple and Siberian White Camo. This is a lighter duty leash than the others I make, it is good for a dog of up to 40-50 lbs, the chrome snap swivels are not as heavy duty as the Brass ones

since I have been making these leashes it has become apparent that I need quite a few different options, not just in color but styles of leashes. I have had some requests for leashes without regular snap latches and just rings. stretchy leashes also.

I have in the works a slip collar and leash combo, I think it will be pretty nice when I have it done.
But for now I only have a light, medium, and heavy duty style leash.

this is a new medium style leash that is Reflective Black and Tan Camo, it has a brass snap swivel, which is rated at a safe working load of 110 lbs.

All my leashes are made with 550 Paracord, the Brass snap swivels are equestrian hardware. one day I plan on some tests to see what kind of abuse I can put them through.
All leashes can be made in any color you want, reflective, camo, and solid colors, if you see a color somewhere that you like and you would like a leash, just let me know.

New Canoe?

So Me and the Wife Finally Acquired a Canoe. We have been looking and talking about it for years and going back and forth between Kayak's or a Canoe...The Canoe won out.

So Craigslist it was, I have never purchased anything through craigslist, but I am very pleased that I did

So here she is, A Grumman 17 ft Canoe it is an older one for sure, we believe from the 60's

This Canoe is from Virginia, the Coastal Canoeists emblems on both sides at the front, a large canoe club There. The nose has a hole that appears to be for attaching a rope or something to it, I plan on a Brass Latch/ Swivel or something with a nice Braided rope for a pull rope/ Tie off  for it

Difficult to find out the exact year she was made, but looking around online it appears to be from the 60's from the G designation number but other than that we don't know, but she is a classic and we can not wait to put it in the water.

Karma is a little timid about it, she will hop in but she is Skeptical of the whole thing. Wait till she finds out she is going in the water with us.
Here is another leash, pretty bright Colors, Neon Yellow and Green, Never really liked these two colors on there own, but together they sure look good.

All my leashes are 6', But can be made a little longer or shorter. I made a nice 8 strand Gaucho braid for a customer that was 8' long, And am currently preparing to make a few leads, maybe 24 inchers. I will have them finished soon a regular 4 strand round braid like above and a 8 strand;the 8 strand being heavy duty for big strong dogs.

Been Experimenting with some bullet casings, I have seen Some on line and thought I would give them a shot.

After shooting My S&W 40 Cal, I pick up my casings, I put Hollow point bullets back in and drill them out big enough for two strands of Paracord, Perfect for Lanyard Beads

This one is a 10 mm Nickel casing, the first Knife Lanyard I made, that is an Old Cammilus Riggers Knife that I use all the Time.

Here is another Knife Lanyard. The Hollow point Bullet was not drilled out but the casing was. it is finished with a strand of Black Paracord with a double Mathew Walker Knot.

Things I"ve been working on lately

A customer of mine requested something a bit different. A dog leash with no latch, just a steel ring. The ring allowing him to attach a short bungee to it. Also a steel ring right at the Handle, For a snack holder for his pup

This was my first go at it, when finished I realized I had reflective white instead of the glow white, that was requested. The Ring being at the bottom of the Finishing Knot.

So I made another one with the right cord, Glow white. A request was made to move the steel ring to the bottom of the Handle and just above the Snake Knot. They both turned out nice and both were purchased by the Customer and is very pleased with them both.

Thanks Richard.
